You’re probably wondering why I didn’t just stop at 10. Well, I’ve never been a fan of even numbers 🌝—and really, who would ever complain about getting one more incredible song to vibe to? Exactly. This list isn’t ranked because I genuinely love all of them. Sure, I may love some more than others, but picking an actual ranking? Impossible. So here goes—11 of my absolute favorite gospel songs! ❤️🔥
1. Worthy of My Praise – Dunsin Oyekan and Lawrence Oyor.
I used to not be a big fan of Nigerian gospel songs. But then this song came along. And it changed everything. Dunsin Oyekan and Lawrence Oyor were clearly blessed when they wrote this, and in turn, they blessed us too. It’s powerful, spirit-filled, playful, deep—and then that spirit chant at the end by Lawrence? Ahhh! 🥺❤ No words! Just listen, and you’ll understand.

2. Olorun Agbaye – Chandler Moore, Nathaniel Bassey
Before Worthy of Your Praise, this was practically the only Nigerian gospel song I truly loved.
Everything about it is just chef’s kiss: the lyrics, the vibes, Chandler trying to pronounce Yoruba words 😄 (adorable, by the way), and Nathaniel’s iconic laugh. But the best part? That breathtaking Eulogy of Oba at the end! Goosebumps, every time. ❤
3. Ebenezeri – Kent Edunjobi, Emma OMG, Apex Choir.
As a Celestial Church of Christ member, imagine my joy when Ebenezeri started trending! Seeing the iconic blue and yellow choir capes over their white sutanas, with Kent leading… ahhh, it was everything.This song is a beautiful thanksgiving to God’s faithfulness. And then he went ahead and made a remix with Emma OMG—and somehow, it got even better! 😂❤
